There is no formless way to offer gratitude and respect to water.
Even a single word of “Thank you” is an excellent prayer to express our gratitude for water.

At the World Water Festival, we hold a “Prayer for Water Ceremony” with “Prayer for Water” created by Chie Ito, a “poet of light”.

In the Prayer for Water Ceremony, we pray for the purity of all the waters of the earth, expressing our love and gratitude for the existence of water and paying deep respect to it as we become aware of the wisdom it possesses.

That by praying through water, we humans, animals, and plants will be healed, and that we will be able to spend our daily lives feeling love and gratitude.

Our goal is that the world will come to harmony.

We hope that through our prayers for water, you will become aware of the “life” and “wisdom” that water possesses, and feel gratitude for water and respect for the earth and the natural world.
